NHL Demo Release Blog is up

Looking for the NHL®14 demo release date? You’ve come to the right place, but you’re a bit early. The video game demo is coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in late August.

The demo will be your first opportunity to experience the big hits, real fights, and unbelievable speed and skill of hockey. NHL 14 features NHL® Collision Physics, Enforcer Engine and One Touch Dekes.

NHL® Collision Physics

Developed using the same physics engine from FIFA franchise, the all-new NHL® Collision Physics engine alters the way players interact on the ice. Speed, momentum and direction will factor into each hit. Use strength and speed correctly and a well time check will absolutely level your opposition. Fail to line-up your hit and watch as your opponent slip past and takes a shot on goal.

Enforcer Engine

Using the same technology that popularized the Fight Night Series, the all-new Enforcer Engine will power fights on the ice, featuring a dynamic third-person perspective that keeps you in the action. Cheap shot an opposing player and be prepared to face the consequences. Real fight damage means that the loser will wear the bruises on his face for the rest of the game.

One Touch Dekes

The new One Touch Dekes system makes beating the defense a whole lot easier. Players will be able to move the puck around based on their skill ratings. Try an advanced move with a clumsy player and you’ll be chasing the puck in the opposite direction.
